My first encounter with a brush and roller was in the summer of 1979 working with a crew on a construction site. That seems like such a long time ago now.
Since that time, I've had the privilege of working with some rather talented painters who have taught me many things. I hope that I have been able to pass on some of those things to others over the years.
In 1985, I met a gentleman whose area of expertise was Faux Finishing. I learned much from him. He had worked all over Europe, the United States and Canada.
Over time I attended many seminars, weekend and night courses, and spent alot of hours of practice in my workshop to get things right.
The decorators and clients that I've had the fortune of working with, have been at times, inspirational and I am very happy to have had those opportunities. They have taken me from Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Moosejaw, ( yes, MooseJaw ) the Muskokas and right here, the Nations Capital, Ottawa. (My home town)
